In 1991 we created the wheel machine by working with our government research foundation to produce a low cost system that could be used by any large or small shop to produce a high quality factory like finish for alloy wheels. We needed a system that could remove curb damage, nicks & bangs, corrosion, wheel weight and center cap damage. We wanted a system that would simulate the finish made by a computer controlled machine similar to what is used at the factory but at a fraction of the price. The system also had to be easy and inexpensive to use. A set of wheels can be refinished in an hour or so for as little as $20 in materials. The system is now used around the world in large and small shops and has been available directly through us for over 10 years.

Below are the basic steps involved with using our system
Many sets of alloy wheels look very much like this one after two or three years.
In most cases the amount of damage does not matter. The same process is used
on just about every wheel we get.
The wheels have to be first cleaned of dirt and brake dust. The old finish can then easily be removed.
The prep work begins once the wheel is dried. This step varies depending on what type of wheel is being refinished. A work bench, styled after the Wheel Machine is
used during this step. The top is hinged so it can be used to house your tools and supplies. It can also be attached to a dust vac (optional) to remove any dust away from the operator.
The wheels are now finished on the WHEEL MACHINE. The wheels are brought back to the factory OEM look in this part of the process. The desired amount of polish and finish is determined by the length of time the operator spends on the machine. The technician will use different tools and finishing products to achieve a perfect finish. All supplies and tools are provided with the system.
The wheels are now ready for clear coating or painting that will match the original finish.
The finished product
The average set of four takes about an hour or two from start to finish. A small shop can easily refinish 4-5 sets per day.
